ABOUT SURA

I am SURA, a 34-year-old girl called Þura Stína. I´m an art director, a producer, and an experience designer.

I have a BA degree as a Graphic Designer in Visual Communications from the Iceland Academy of the Arts. I graduated in the year 2016 and started working as a Graphic Designer at the advertising agency Brandenburg and in 2018 I started working for the youngster in the production business Ketchup Creative. There I was doing multiple work such as graphic design, art direction, production, and account managing many of their clients.

I was the Experience Designer for DesignMarch in 2021 and I am the Producer for the international design conference DesignTalks in Harpa since 2022. Next DesignTalks will be held in Harpa on the 2nd of April in 2025. In 2022 I created a production company of my own, SURA Productions that does freelance work in directing, producing, and designing.

I finished my Master of Arts degree in Visual Design and Integrated Marketing Communication at NABA (Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti) in Milan in September 2023 where I graduated with the highest grade. I am currently the Experience and Visual Designer for the brand Nova since the beginning of 2023.
